Sebastian Corradino, Managing Director (Cleveland, OH)
Sebastian Corradino serves as Managing Director of RBC Capital Markets - Tax Credit Equity Group since March 2006. From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Corradino was Executive Vice President and Director of the Washington, D. C. office, responsible for the origination of affordable housing and historic tax credit investments for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states.
Before joining RBC, Mr. Corradino founded and operated MissionFirst Development, a Washington, DC development company focused on affordable housing. Sebastian also worked as a Senior Underwriter for the National Equity Fund, where he was responsible for supervising investments in affordable housing projects. Prior to working with the National Equity Fund, he served as the Director of Program Operations for the Cooperative Housing Foundation (CHF) in Washington, D.C. While at CHF, Sebastian provided consulting services for affordable housing projects to a variety of domestic and international clients, including foreign governments, the U.S. State Department, the World Bank, and private foundations.
In addition to his consulting and advisory experience, Sebastian worked for a variety of governmental and legal institutions, including the U.S. House of Representatives, the New York City Office of Management and Budget, and a U.S. District Court.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from St. Joseph's University. He earned a Masters in Public Administration at Columbia and Juris Doctor from George Mason University. He is admitted to the Bar in Illinois.
Anthony J. Alfieri, Director - Chief Credit Officer (Cleveland, OH)
Tony Alfieri has worked extensively in the banking industry for over 20 years, primarily specializing in real estate finance and credit.
Prior to his appointment as RBC Tax Credit Equity Group's Chief Credit Officer in May 2006, Mr. Alfieri was a Director in Wachovia Bank's Tax Credit Investment Group, where he served in various capacities including origination and underwriting, and as Director of Risk Management, with approval authority for new equity investments. He managed, trained, and developed a staff of underwriters and analysts, with primary responsibility for all components of real estate equity and debt risk. Additionally, he provided risk management oversight and credit approval authority for the tax credit asset management function for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of debt and equity. In this capacity, Tony approved workout plans and restructures for distressed debt and equity.
In his 10-year career at Wachovia, Mr. Alfieri was also a Senior Credit Officer in the Asset Securitization Department, and a Real Estate Credit Officer in Northern Virginia and in the Real Estate Capital Markets group in Charlotte, NC.
Prior to joining Wachovia, Tony had careers at both Fleet Bank and Chase Manhattan, where he received his formal credit training. He was a commercial real estate Department Manager and a Relationship Manager, with primary territory in upstate New York. Tony is a graduate of Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, with a BS degree in Business Administration and an Economics concentration.
Emily E. Evers, Director - Investor Relations / Business Development (San Francisco, CA)
Emily Evers currently functions as a Director with Investor Relations and Business Development responsibility. Emily joined RBC's Tax Credit Equity Group in mid-2006 as Regional Director of the West Coast office, focused primarily on Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado origination activity.
Ms. Evers experience includes the acquisition of affordable, new market and historic tax credit properties nationwide. Emily has worked with non-profit and for-profit developers, underwriting a variety of property types such as HOPE VI and special needs housing, and structured transactions that involved both federal and state tax credits.
Prior to joining RBC in 2006, Emily was a Vice President with AEGON Community Investments for four years, worked for the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, and a Boston development consulting firm. Emily graduated with honors from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Public Policy.
Michael Riechman, Director - Investor Relations (Cleveland, OH)
Michael Riechman serves as Director - Investor Relations of RBC's Tax Credit Equity Group, responsible for managing Investor Relations staff, and developing and maintaining investor relationships. He started with RBC in 2003 at the Washington, DC office, in Acquisitions.
Prior to joining RBC, Mr. Riechman was an Asset Manager for Fannie Mae's American Communities Fund where he was responsible for a multi-family equity portfolio in excess of $100 million. He also served as a Manager in the Real Estate Consulting Group of Reznick Fedder & Silverman where he was responsible for advising clients in structuring real estate transactions with a specific concentration in low-income housing and historic projects, and in seeking and obtaining sources of funding.
Prior to that, Mr. Riechman spent three years as a Development Associate where he successfully structured, financed, and managed over 1,000 housing units. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Mr. Riechman completed his Masters in Business Administration at American University's Kogod School of Business.
Robert A. Vest, Director - Investor Relations / Business Development (Charlotte, NC)
Rob Vest currently functions as a Director with Investor Relations and Business Development responsibility. Prior to this role, Rob served as Director of Acquisitions for RBC's Tax Credit Equity Group and was responsible for the nationwide staff in the areas of origination, acquisition, financial underwriting, partnership structuring, and syndication of affordable housing and historic tax credit investments.
Rob's experience includes the acquisition of affordable and historic tax credit properties and commercial real estate lending. He has worked with for-profit and non-profit developers, underwritten a variety of property types, including multi-family, office, retail, hotel, assisted living, and civic use, has structured transactions that involved both federal and state historic tax credits, and has invested in multiple mixed finance properties utilizing HOPE VI funds.
Prior to joining RBC in 2001, Rob held positions with the Tax Credit Investment Group at First Union Securities, the Enterprise Social Investment Corporation, and the Commercial Real Estate Lending Group at Bank of America. A graduate of Davidson College, Rob completed his Masters in Business Administration at Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Craig S. Wagner, Director - Developer Relations (Charlotte, NC)
Craig Wagner currently serves as Director - Developer Relations for RBC's Tax Credit Equity Group with overall responsibility for the nationwide staff in their originations and investment management functions. Prior to this role, Craig was the Regional Director - Southeast where he led a team in the areas of origination, financial underwriting, and partnership structuring of investments. He originally joined RBC in 2002, and served as a Vice President for acquisitions in the Charlotte office, with a focus on originations in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Craig's experience includes the acquisition and underwriting of LIHTC, HTC, and various state tax credit investments. He has worked with numerous housing authorities, for-profit developers, and non-profit developers on various property types including HOPE VI, mixed-income, and mixed-use transactions.
Prior to joining RBC, Mr. Wagner served in various leadership roles as an officer in the United States Navy and as a production manager for Frito Lay, Inc. in California. Craig, a graduate of Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, earned his Masters in Business Administration with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance from the Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Michael J. Wiggers, Director of Operations (Charlotte, NC)
Michael Wiggers serves as Director of Operations for RBC's Tax Credit Equity Group, and is responsible for leadership and management oversight of the Company's finance department, key departmental functions and general operations. These responsibilities include ensuring consistent, efficient, high-quality and customer-focused execution to enable the Company to achieve its financial, operational and strategic goals. Michael ensures the Company has adequate people, processes and systems to meet such goals. Mr. Wiggers' oversight includes finance, developer relations and asset management, in addition to human resources, information technology and general operations.
Prior to his current role, Michael served as the Company's Chief Financial Officer. Before joining RBC in 2001, Mr. Wiggers worked in the Real Estate and Construction Group at Hausser + Taylor, LLP where he specialized in tax and accounting projects for many types of real estate entities, such as architects, contractors, developers, management companies and syndicators. He gained experience preparing and supervising cost certifications for low-income housing projects, preparing financial underwriting for low-income housing and historic rehabilitation developers and supervising annual audits and tax engagements.
Mr. Wiggers graduated with honors from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business Pre-Law and earned his CPA thereafter. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
