Group Description

The Alternative Assets Group (AAG) is a unit within RBC Capital Markets dedicated to providing customized products and services to hedge fund investors. The group combines its expertise in hedge fund structured products with the custodial and administration services of the Portfolio Service Group and the capabilities of the RBC Financial Group. These collective services create a unique platform, allowing us to develop and execute tailored products to meet the sophisticated investment objectives of our hedge fund clients.

Position Description

The four summer interns working within AAG will gain experience in a number of different areas. Tasks will vary from financial statement analysis, general accounting and custodial work, to marketing assistance, and various administrative tasks. AAG is a small group with some of the leading professionals in their field. Candidates will need to be driven, intelligent and quick on their feet to keep up with the pace of this dynamic market. The experience gained in a few short months with this group will serve Interns well for the rest of their career. This position runs from June to mid-August.
