On October 1, RBC employees, family, friends and fellow tri-state residents took over Brookfield Place in downtown Manhattan for the eighth annual RBC Race for the Kids in New York City. The event attracted more than 2,300 registrants – including more than 1,800 on Team RBC – who ran, walked, pedaled and lifted, while raising over $2 million for Youth INC and seven additional nonprofits serving local youth.

In addition to the traditional 4K family fun run, participants competed in the RBC Challenge team competition, 30-mile cycling tour, and two shorter kids’ races. Guests and families could then enjoy the Kids’ Zone and Sports Zone activities, with activations sponsored by local businesses and athletic teams.
