RBC Capital Markets heats up the ice at the home of the Boston Bruins.
On January 19th over 250 attendees took to the home ice of the Boston Bruins for the 8th Annual Dream Game & Family Skate. Boston Bruins’ greats, Kenny ‘The Rat’ Linseman and ‘Nifty’ Rick Middleton led our Fixed Income team in white and our Equities team in blue. Equities inched out Fixes Income, 5-4, to bring home the win and bragging rights until the next matchup in 2018. The Bruin’s alumni coaches weren’t the only legends in attendance. The event photographer, Brian ‘Babs’ Babineau, the official photographer of the Boston Bruins and Celtics, is the man who shot Wayne Gretzky’s Rookie Card which sold at auction last year for a mind blowing $465,000.
Spectators enjoyed some ice skating before the game and then gathered in the stands to cheer on RBC Capital Markets clients and employees as they battled it out in an intense hockey matchup that kept the fans on the edge of their seats.
Both teams and the Boston community came out as winners, receiving a total of $25,000 in grants to benefit Franciscan Hospital for Children and Boston Children’s Hospital.
