Ever dreamed of sharing the ice with NHL hockey legends?

Ever dreamed of sharing the ice with NHL hockey legends? Ronald McDonald House® New York and RBC Capital Markets partnered to make that wish possible – while making a difference for families in need. New York Rangers Hall of Famers Rod Gilbert and Brian Leetch hosted the 24th annual Skate with the Greats at The Rink at Rockefeller Center. This annual event, which included food, a silent auction and skating with sports legends, raised more than $800,000 to fight pediatric cancer through the Ronald McDonald House®.

"RBC is honored to sponsor Skate with the Greats and we are grateful to have a longstanding partnership with the Ronald McDonald House® New York," said Bobby Grubert, Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets. "RBC is dedicated to helping our clients thrive and communities prosper and we are committed to help raise awareness of the wonderful support and services available at the House for children and their families."

Skate with the Greats was founded in 2006 by Gilbert and Leetch in an effort to bring more awareness to pediatric cancer and illnesses. Since the event's inception, it has become a winter milestone providing an opportunity for House residents to enjoy a small part of what New York City has to offer.
