RBC Capital Markets repeats role as Co-Presenting Sponsor of Bubble Hockey Night for SickKids – helping to bring in $1 MILLION in fundraising!
RBC Capital Markets recently acted as Co-Presenting Sponsor of the fourth-annual Bubble Hockey Night for SickKids. Our employees, clients, and other generous members of the community suited up in Toronto to play in a fast-paced bubble hockey tournament for a great cause: the SickKids Foundation.
Cheering on competitors were a number of celebrity guests, including NHL alumni Darryl Sittler, Shayne Corson, Gary Leeman, Carlo Colaiacovo – and the voice of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Joe Bowen.
Once the “ice” had cleared, over $370,000 had been raised to directly benefit SickKids, Canada’s largest hospital for children (up from $290,000 in the previous year). To date, over $1 million has been raised by the event! RBC Capital Markets has acted as a Presenting Sponsor of the tournament each year since its inception in 2016.
