On September 1, 2022, RATCH-Australia Corporation (“RAC”) reached financial close on the portfolio refinancing of its Australian renewable assets, including the Collector Wind Farm, Mount Emerald Wind Farm, and Collinsville Solar Farm. The transaction was executed as a green loan financing under RAC’s Green Financing Framework, and included new A$477 million 5 and 7-year term debt facilities, a new A$13 million 3-year debt service reserve facility, and a new A$5 million 3-year revolving letter of credit and bank guarantee facility, provided by both new and existing lenders. The transaction also involved the execution of top-up interest rate swaps to align with the new debt profile and quantum.

RBC acted as Sole Financial Advisor to RAC on the transaction. RBC’s role included development of a financing strategy, execution of a competitive funding process, coordination of due diligence advisors, negotiation of facility documentation, and coordination of the execution of top-up interest rate swaps.
