Pactiv Evergreen announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to merge with Apollo portfolio company Novolex, in an all-cash transaction. Pactiv and Novolex are highly complementary businesses that will offer a broad product platform, establishing one of the most diverse substrate offerings in the packaging industry.
