Ms. Patel will act as the regional lead for the office of the CM COO, with executive oversight of operational activities and performance as well as driving the effectiveness of the business models across Europe. Specifically, she will have leadership responsibility for the design and implementation of regional strategies, including plans, procedures and frameworks, the New Business Committee (NBC), governance and regulatory solutions, business continuity management and operational risk. Ms. Patel also joins the global COO Leadership Committee and the CM Europe Operating Committee (EOC).
Having joined RBC in 2009 as a graduate, Ms. Patel has gained experience and demonstrated her exceptional business acumen across a range of support, management and client-facing roles in Global Risk Management, Corporate Treasury, Treasury & Market Services, and most recently as MD, Head of Product and Profitability for Market Services within Investor & Treasury Services.
As a member of the UK Diversity Leadership Council, Ms. Patel will also take an active leadership role in supporting D&I and promoting RBC’s culture and values across a range of community and employee engagement initiatives.
