City of Toronto has established a Sustainable Debenture Framework

The City of Toronto’s approach to sustainability includes actions across climate mitigation and adaptation, housing and social equity, biodiversity, clean transportation, Indigenous reconciliation and infrastructure resilience. Building on the Green Debenture Program introduced in 2018 and the Social Debenture Program introduced in 2020, the City has developed a Sustainable Debenture Program.
