Key points

  • RBC Capital Markets, Theatre Royal Sydney and ABCN came together to create a unique theatre experience for students from Campbelltown Performing Arts High School.
  • ABCN (The Australian Business and Community Network) connects students from schools in under-resourced communities with corporate volunteers, helping bridge the gap between potential and possibility.
  • The students attended a performance of Cluedo The Play and enjoyed an exclusive Q&A experience with the cast and crew.

This April, a group of students and teachers from Campbelltown Performing Arts High School, a partner school of ABCN, were hosted at Theatre Royal Sydney for a matinee performance of Cluedo The Play, the stage adaptation of the fan-favourite 1985 Paramount Pictures film.

ABCN is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to opening doors for young people who may not have access to professional networks or resources.

RBC is the Premier Partner of the theatre and has proudly supported ABCN for over three years, building a partnership that includes employee mentoring programs, Accelerate scholarship funding, and supporting initiatives that focus on equipping young people with the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

"We're delighted to be able to create opportunities like today that help young people develop the skills for a thriving future."

Blair Wark, Chief Country Officer, Australia and COO, APAC, RBC Capital Markets

Following the performance, the students enjoyed an exclusive Q&A with the cast and production crew who shared their firsthand experiences and advice. The discussion included insights into the individual career journeys of the cast and crew, their inspirations and motivations and tips on navigating a career in the arts.

Thank you to Theatre Royal Sydney, Crossroads Live, ABCN, Campbelltown Performing Arts High School, and everyone involved in making this event such a success.
