RBC Capital Markets Canada Women’s Advisory Program – 2022

RBC Capital Markets is committed to fostering workplace diversity and inclusion. The RBC Capital Markets Women’s Advisory Program is a selective, industry-leading multi-month early insight and professional development program for outstanding female undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in finance. The program explores Capital Markets careers with our award-winning businesses in Banking (including Corporate Banking/Global Credit and Investment Banking) and Global Markets (including Debt Capital Markets, Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities, and Global Research)


Program Benefits:

  • A structured, multi-month program involving in-person and virtual development opportunities as well as a thorough orientation to RBC Capital Markets and the finance industry
  • Advisor matches with RBC employees in your preferred business area to foster deeper learning of the industry, and to offer advice and support as you explore and navigate your career path
  • Early access to a network of senior leaders and junior professionals to provide candid insight, support and guidance through business deep dives, social events, and skill-building sessions
  • The opportunity to participate in an accelerated interview process for a 2023 Capital Markets summer internship, and the chance to strengthen your application for the 2024 Summer Analyst Program in Global Investment Banking or Global Markets
  • An invaluable peer network of driven, ambitious students from schools across the country

Eligibility:

  • You are a full-time female undergraduate student graduating in December 2024 or Spring 2025
  • You are able to join us for a 2023 summer internship
  • You are passionate about a career in Capital Markets

Application Review & Selection Process Timeline:

  • Following the application deadline, applications will be reviewed by a team of RBC Capital Markets colleagues
  • Select, eligible students will advance to a program interview with a member of the business; following which successful candidates will be invited to join the program
  • Program specifics including a timeline of Fall events will be provided to all program participants*

*In the event of any in-person program sessions, RBC Capital Markets will cover any travel/hotel expenses for participants located outside of Toronto.

RBC Capital Markets UK Women’s Advisory Program – 2023

RBC Capital Markets is committed to fostering workplace diversity and inclusion. The RBC Capital Markets Women’s Advisory Program is a selective, industry-leading multi-month early insight and development program for outstanding first year university students keen to launch a career in Capital Markets and interested in exploring internship opportunities within Global Markets. No previous experience in Markets is required.


Programme Benefits:

  • Access to a wide network of RBC representatives across Trading and Sales desks as well as Research and Origination through speaker sessions and group discussions
  • Frequent “deep dives” into topical issues within Trading, Sales, Research, and Origination designed to expose you to career paths and the expertise of industry leaders as they navigate pivotal market events

  • You are a full-time female first year university student graduating in Spring/Summer 2025
  • You are able to join us for a 2024 summer internship
  • You are passionate about a career in Capital Markets, and have a genuine interest in Global Markets (Trading, Sales, Research, Origination)
