RBC Capital Markets Canada Advisory Program
The RBC Capital Markets Advisory Program is a selective, industry-leading multi-month early insight and professional development program for outstanding undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in finance.
In Canada, the program explores Capital Markets careers with our award-winning businesses in Banking (including Corporate Banking/Global Credit and Investment Banking) and Global Markets (including Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities, and Global Research), as well as Sustainable Finance.
Program Benefits:
- A structured, multi-month program involving in-person and virtual development opportunities as well as a thorough orientation to RBC Capital Markets and the finance industry
- Mentor matches with RBC employees in your preferred business area to foster deeper learning of the industry, and to offer advice and support as you explore and navigate your career path
- Early access to a network of senior leaders and junior professionals to provide candid insight, support and guidance through business deep dives, social events, and skill-building sessions
- An invaluable peer network of driven, ambitious students from schools across the country
- The opportunity to participate in an accelerated interview process for a 2026 Capital Markets co-op/internship, and the chance to strengthen your application for the 2027 Summer Analyst Program in Global Investment Banking or Global Markets
Eligibility:
- You are genuinely passionate about a career in Capital Markets
- You are an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at a U.S. college or university graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 December
- You are able to join us for a 2026 co-op/internship during the Winter (Jan-April), Summer (May-August), and/or Fall (September-December) work terms
Application Deadline:
October 10, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET
Application Review & Selection Process Timeline:
- Following the application deadline, applications will be reviewed by a team of RBC Capital Markets colleagues
- Select, eligible students will advance to a program interview with a member of the business; following which successful candidates will be invited to join the program
- Program specifics including a timeline of Fall events will be provided to all program participants*
- Participants will be put on one of two business tracks. Please select your business track preference on the supplementary questions
*In the event of any in-person program sessions, RBC Capital Markets will cover travel expenses for participants located outside of the Greater Toronto Area.

The RBC Capital Markets Advisory Program is an industry-leading multi-month early insight and professional development program for outstanding undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in finance.
In the U.S., the program explores Capital Markets careers with our award-winning businesses in Banking (including Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, and Municipal Finance), Global Markets (including Global Research, Origination, Quantitative Trading and Research Group, and Sales & Trading), and RBC Clear (Cash Management).

RBC Capital Markets UK Women’s Advisory Programme – 2025
RBC Capital Markets is committed to fostering workplace diversity and inclusion. The RBC Capital Markets Women’s Advisory Program is a selective, industry-leading multi-month early insight and professional development program for outstanding first year university students keen to launch a career in Capital Markets and interested in exploring internship opportunities within Global Markets or Investment Banking. No previous experience is required.
