Nitin Babbar is Global Head, Equity Capital Markets (ECM) with primary responsibility for the Canadian ECM business, while maintaining a global perspective on the ECM business.  Prior to assuming the role of Global Co-Head of ECM, Nitin was responsible for building RBC’s convertible business globally while being integral to overall ECM activity. Nitin brings over 25 years of industry experience and re-joined RBC Capital Markets in 2007 after spending 8 years managing institutional money in both New York and Toronto.  Nitin has a diverse background across the capital markets business, with history in trading, derivatives, corporate finance, and ECM.

Nitin was formerly the co-chair of the RBC Capital Markets Canadian Diversity Leadership Council.  Nitin graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce, holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder.

Jackie Nixon is Head, Canadian Equity Capital Markets. Jackie is responsible for originating, structuring & executing equity & equity linked financings for Canadian issuers. She brings significant global experience having worked at Goldman Sachs for 13 years collectively in London, New York, and Toronto. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Jackie worked at RBC Capital Markets for 5 years before rejoining in 2024. Jackie graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce. Jackie serves on the Boards of the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation and Branksome Hall Foundation.

Michael Ventura is Co-Head, U.S. Equity Capital Markets. Michael is a founding member of the Equity Capital Markets team, having joined RBC in 2007 from Bear Stearns & Co. He has held ECM sector head responsibilities across Power & Utilities/Infrastructure, Energy, SPACs, and Industrials, originating and executing some of RBC’s largest Active Bookrun Offerings. He currently maintains day-to-day responsibility for the Industrials sector, advising on matters related to equity, equity-linked and private capital raising. Michael graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts. Michael and his family are active supporters of the Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation and the Hudson River Park Trust.

Joseph Passaro is Co-Head, U.S. Equity Capital Markets and Global Head of ECM Syndicate. Joseph joined RBC Capital Markets in 2023 and leads investor education efforts while spearheading global equity deal execution. He also manages direct communication with investors and oversees the bookbuild process for all equity offerings at RBC. Prior to RBC, Joseph held senior roles at Goldman Sachs, BTIG, and Deutsche Bank, managing key capital-raising transactions across multiple sectors. Joseph graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He is based in New York City and is known for his expertise in equity markets and commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Angus Millar is Head, European Capital Markets.  Adam has 18+ years’ experience in Equity Capital Markets, advising on equity transactions for corporate, private equity, venture capital, entrepreneur and government clients. He has full experience and capabilities advising on: company equity story development; market environment and transaction positioning; investor marketing strategies and interactions; deal structuring and negotiations; company valuation and offer pricing; project management and third party liaison. Angus previously worked at Morgan Stanley, Nomura, and Lehman Brothers.

Adam Miller is Head, Corporate Broking. Adam joined RBC Capital Markets in 2024, bringing extensive coverage expertise from a twenty-year career at Merrill Lynch, Collins Stewart, Deutsche Bank, and HSBC. He was most recently a Managing Director in HSBC's UK Investment Banking team for six years, with significant connectivity with UK boardrooms across various industries.
