It’s through collective action that we drive real change

This year, we celebrate the 110th anniversary of International Women’s Day (IWD). In 1911, over one million women and men around the world joined the first ever IWD rallies to campaign for women’s rights to work, vote, hold public office and to end discrimination. The progress we have made since then in regards to women’s rights has been instrumental, but there is still more to be done.

International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across the globe and a time to come together as allies to campaign for equal representation and visibility and take a stand against inequality.

At RBC, this year’s theme ‘You Can Change the World’ calls us all to speak up for diversity and inclusion and come together to create a more inclusive world. We share some inspirational quotes from individuals within RBC
