On Sunday, April 6th, over 20,000 runners took to the streets for the latest edition of the London Landmarks Half Marathon (LLHM), raising an incredible £16 million for over 700 charities - making it the largest event to date. As an official sponsor, we are proudly reinforcing our shared commitment to strengthening communities and driving life-changing charitable work.
Since its launch in 2018, the LLHM has raised £70 million for vital causes, benefiting pregnancy and baby charity Tommy’s, as well as over 700 additional charity partners. RBC’s global support of major running events makes this partnership a natural fit, reflecting its dedication to fostering health, well-being, and impactful philanthropy. This aligns seamlessly with LLHM’s mission to unite communities, celebrate London’s rich cultural heritage, and support the charity sector through fitness.
The route to greater impact
The LLHM’s unique route through Westminster and the City offered participants and spectators an unforgettable experience, weaving through iconic landmarks and cultural activations. For the first time, the race began on Whitehall and concluded in the vibrant Trafalgar Square. Runners passed through Westminster, along the scenic Embankment, and into the City, where London’s historic and modern architecture intersect.
"The LLHM is not just a race; it's a celebration of the community, history, and the vibrant culture of London."

The atmosphere was electric, with support from the crowds from start to finish. It's a perfect setting for clients and colleagues to come together, fostering camaraderie and team spirit. The LLHM is not just a race; it's a celebration of the community, history, and the vibrant culture of London."
Adding a ‘roarsome’ twist to the 2025 event, RBC introduced the “Lions of London” activation, celebrating both its mascot, Leo the Lion, and the city’s 10,000 lion statues. Leo led a spirited team of over 80 RBC volunteers who cheered runners on as the ‘mane’ attraction and provided much needed support at the RBC water Station!
